How we tint your Tesla
Teslas have more glass than most cars. We tint the side windows and the big rear glass, and add film to the glass roof to cut the heat coming through it. Every Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X and Cybertruck gets the same care.

What to tell us: your car’s year, make and model, which windows you want tinted, and whether there’s old tint to take off.
Most cars take about 1 to 5 hours, depending on the vehicle and the windows. Drop the car off, or relax in our air-conditioned waiting room while we work.
Afterwards: keep the windows up for about a week. A little haze while the film dries is normal. Clean with a soft cloth and no ammonia.

Can you tint a Tesla glass roof?
Yes. Film on the glass roof cuts the infrared heat coming through it, which makes a real difference in the Arizona sun.
Will tint affect my Tesla’s phone key or GPS?
No. Union Ceramic IR has no metal in it, so the phone key, GPS, LTE and radio work as normal.
Which Tesla models do you tint?

How dark can I tint my Tesla in Arizona?
The same as any car: the front side windows must let more than 33% of light through, film and glass together; the rear windows can be any shade with mirrors on both sides.
How do I care for Tesla window tint?
Keep the windows up for about a week, then clean with a soft, damp microfiber cloth and a cleaner without ammonia.
